AVC Distributor ships via a variety of shipping speeds using both UPS and the United States Postal Service.  We ship to and sell to customers in the United States only.  We don't offer International Shipping.  There may be times that there is a modification of shipping type.  For example if an item is ordered First Class and the total order shipping weight is heavier than 13 oz we will have to use another shipping method since the limit for First Class Mail is 13 oz.

We are not responsible for shipping times once an item has left our facility.  During periods of high volume, natural disasters, and other situations, shipping can take longer.  If you experience delays, often you are able to get help by contacting your local Post Office or UPS.  

We pride ourselves on using Premium Packing Materials.  We know how important your purchase is to you and we want to make sure it arrives safely.  If for any reason an item is damaged contact us immediately.

Free Shipping:

We offer free shipping on orders totalling over $97.  All you have to do is choose Free Shipping option at checkout.  Free Shipping orders will ship via UPS Ground, USPS First Class, or USPS Parcel Post depending on weight.  On orders consisting only of books USPS Media Mail will be used.  Note that Free Shipping is only available on Credit Card and Paypal payments at this time.  Free Shipping is not available for Google Checkout purchases.  Free Shipping is limited to orders weighing less than 30 lbs Shipping Weight.

Tracking/Delivery Confirmation:

Items shipped via UPS offer a Tracking Number.  Items shipped via USPS offer a Delivery Confirmation.  Often a delivery confirmation only shows when it left the main Denver sorting area in Denver, CO and also when it is received at the sorting facility near the destination and at the destination address.  Your tracking number or delivery confirmation number are provided to you at time of shipping.  Please adjust your spam filter to allow for you to receive emails from avcdistributor.com

Shipping Time:

We do our best to ship all items within 2 business days.  During times such as holidays, after weekends, and other periods of high volumes items could take longer to ship.  To be fair to all customers we ship items in the order in which the orders are placed.  Items ordered via an expedited method rather than UPS Ground, USPS First Class, USPS Parcel Post, or USPS Medial Mail are placed at the top of our shipping queue.

Signature Confirmations:

We require a signature confirmation at time of receipt on all packages totalling $250 of more for the cost of the merchandise.

Note about Incorrect Shipping Addresses:

If an item is returned to us because of incorrect shipping information or non-signature in the case of a package requiring signature confirmation, we will charge the shipping fee a second time to reship the item.  If the item is no longer desired we will issue a refund minus the shipping cost and a 15% restocking fee. If for any reason we don't receive a response within 7 days we will automatically refund the purchase price minus 15% restocking fee and shipping cost.

No Local Pickup:

We do not have a Will Call option for local pickup at our Warehouse.
